I went to Trenton Thunder today and I had to walk across the field as the "Dog of the Day"!.  I had soooo much fun.  They told everyone all about me and I walked real nice on my mommy's left side, I didn't pull.  So many people came to meet me afterwards, I was huge hit!  I am such a big girl!  Now you know, I am in training for walking nicely on a leash and, don't tell mom, but I think I walked nicely because I had no idea where I was and I was using mommy's leg as a guide, but if mommy wants to think I am learning how to walk nicely on a leash, then let her.  It can be our little secret!!

I did something really fun today.  I went to Aunt Karen's house and played with her babies, Isis and Petey!!!!  I had soooo much fun.  Finally, I met some dogs that played with me and didn't mind that I am still learning how to play.  We are going to try to have another play date soon.

It's me again!!!  I am so getting big!!! I'm 25 pounds now.  I am really starting to track my bones when I am playing.  I am doing much better with my brothers.  And Timber really likes me!!  He lets me step on him, he licks me and wags his big tail.  I hope when I get adopted one day, I have a sibling who will accept me and my impairnesses.  I really am friendly.

Hi, its me, Licorice (a/k/a Cori).  You all know I'm a puppy and mommy was laughing at me.  I am finally starting to feel the presence of others and things around me.  Well, I could smell my brother, I just couldn't find him.  So I was giving the puppy bow, making noise to let him know I wanted to play, and all of a sudden, mommy is laughing so hard ---- I was trying to initiate play with the water bowl!!!  I'm a puppy....what do I know!!! I'll get her, just wait....

I saw the opthamologist last night.  Guess what, I am a candidate for surgery.  The doctor said that he may be able to help me recover some of my sight!!!  Mommy is so happy for me and hopefully I will be scheduled for surgery soon.  I can't wait to see my foster family.  They love me soooooo much!!!  I can't wait to let you know if the surgery is a success. 

Hi Everyone!!  Let me introduce myself.  My name is Licorice, but my call name is Cori.  I am an Aussie Mix.  I am almost 5 months old, blind and hearing impaired.  I can hear some things, but not a lot and sometimes I don't know where the sound is coming from.  My foster mommy is helping me with touch commands for sit and down, and I am crate trained and pretty much housebroken.  My favorite activity is running in the yard and mommy is helping me with "come" by either clapping, snapping her fingers or slapping her thighs.  I try really hard to find her and when I do, she praises me silly!!!  I just love the attention.
